Platform Solution Engineer
Salesforce is looking for a motivated Platform Pre Sales to join our very
dedicated Pre-Sales Solution Engineering team, who are instrumental to Salesforce's growth. As a Platform Solution Engineer, you are going to be the trusted technical guide in showing and proving how the Salesforce Platform can meet the customers technical requirements. The Account/Sales team will rely on your technical and product expertise throughout the sales cycle. You will be an integral part of the success for both our customers and Account Executives by performing technical discovery qualification, making architectural recommendations for the solution, building sophisticated product
demonstrations and POCs. As a hardworking technologist and customer advocate, you will connect the dots between the technical solution to business value for the customer.

New to Pre-sales? These are some skills you need:
Hands-on application development experience in Java, scripting or SOAP/REST
development either in an enterprise or academic environment
Excellent presentation abilities and composure in front of all levels of technical
audiences
Excellent verbal communication,
Highly hardworking Pre-sales professional? These are the core skills you will need to be successful:
Pre-Sales enterprise software experience, skills to establish trust with clients and ability to influence key decision makers in the sales cycle
Experience developing apps on Salesforce Lightning platform or other platforms like Heroku or GCP, AWS
Proven understanding of cloud technologies - iPaaS, SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure, etc. is helpful
Experience of prioritisation, handling and building sophisticated Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and responding to functional & technical elements of RFIs/RFPs independently and optimally
A passion for technology and translating that passion into business impact for customers
Verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel as needed and to work flexible .
Preferred Requirements:
Consistent record in giving sales presentations to executive-level audiences
6- 12 years of sales, marketing, operations, and/or consulting experience in a software company
Successful participation in sales cycles in a pre-sales/consulting role
