The Manager, AMER Employee Impact will support our large employee-base in the US, Canada, and Latin America. The Manager is responsible for increasing programmatic impact, engaging employees in Employee Impact programs, and building for scale where appropriate. They will use their significant experience in corporate volunteering and deep understanding of nonprofits to engage executives and employees, enable regional Employee Impact Councils, and support our biggest market.

  • Key Roles & Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for driving strategic employee impact programming for all Salesforce employees across the AMER region, including the U.S., Canada, and Latin America
    • In collaboration with Employee Impact colleagues, support and enable the 17 AMER Employee Impact Councils to deliver effective volunteering opportunities that are locally meaningful
    • Collaborate across internal social impact teams to help identify, assess, and engage strategic community partnerships
    • Build and maintain relationships with strategic nonprofit partners across AMER region
    • Serve as a thought partner to identify program improvements, expansion, and new programmatic opportunities that align with the global team’s overall strategic goals
    • Establish regional goals, measure outcomes, and partner with operations team to evaluate process and performance on a consistent and timely basis
    • Work with the communications team to identify creative ways to internally and externally promote our social impact programs and celebrate successes on our various communication channels
    • Regular communication with leadership and employees in your region around increasing impact
    • Create and manage strategically significant events in region, including for Global Volunteer Month and other key company moments
    • Other projects and activities as assigned
  • Qualifications:
    • 5+ years experience in managing corporate employee engagement programs or community involvement initiatives
    • Proven experience in building best-in-class programs; deep knowledge of the latest social impact and employee engagement trends
    • Management experience
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to excel as a team
    • Ability to effectively interface at the senior executive level
    • Commitment to quality work with strong attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • A can-do, proactive, solution-minded, and all around positive attitude
    • Strong and proven organizational and project management skills, and ability to manage several projects simultaneously
    • Proficiency in Google applications and experience with Salesforce and Slack preferred
    • Ability to be flexible and adaptable
    • Operate with limited information in order to make decisions
    • Ability to represent the team at internal and external events and among colleagues at all levels of the company
    • Comfortable speaking publicly
