Salesforce Messaging Product team leads the charter to help Businesses connect with their end users in their preferred channel through rich, conversational AI driven experiences. These experiences are delivered through Salesforce Apps and the Messaging PM team is focused on enabling Mobile Messaging channels (SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, etc.) for all of Salesforce Apps.
The SMS team is responsible for building the most trusted and reliable deliverability platform for our SMS channels. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who will obsess about customer success, drive innovation, and collaborate across the organization to deliver customer value at the highest level of system scale and performance for the SMS channel. This role will require bringing together your business acumen and your technical expertise to help extend the Salesforce Marketing Cloud position as the leading Customer Engagement and Marketing Automation Platform in the world.
Responsibilities
As a Senior PM in Mobile Messaging Product team,
Your focus will be to collaboratively drive development of SMS product roadmap informed by customer insights & competitive analysis to deliver on Salesforce business objectives
You will own & drive Salesforce product strategy of working with SMS ecosystem partners (Aggregators, Hubs and MNOs) and managing key strategic relationships to help deliver on business objectives
You will develop & own Salesforce Bring Your Own (BYO) messaging channel product vision, roadmap and execution delivering an integrated messaging experience for Businesses
You will drive adoption of SMS channel into Salesforce App offerings to solve customer use-cases including pricing & packaging and GTM enablement
You will cultivate internal relationships across functional areas including Engineering, Support, UX, Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal to drive the success of your product.

Required Qualifications
7+ year experience in product management with a technical background in CPaaS domain
Deep technical & commercial understanding of Mobile Messaging channels & ecosystem business models
Business and commercial expertise with technical know-how of APIs
Go-getter & Collaborative - you can drive results for impact, manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, and see it through the finish line
Skilled communicator who is just as comfortable having technical discussion as well as formulating and presenting business concepts with customers and internal teams.
Proven ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams to execute against a plan.
Strong analytical abilities and structured in your daily work with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of enterprise CRM products, automation and orchestration workflow designers
Knowledge of the Salesforce products and architecture; bonus if prior experience of working with Marketing Cloud or other leading MarTech platform
Proven ability of negotiating product partnerships to launch partner-based features or products; bonus if prior experience negotiating with Mobile ecosystem partners and/or OTT providers.
