Our customers use Anypoint Platform - MuleSoft's flagship product - to build integrations and APIs that connect our customers’ most critical data sources. Anypoint Platform helps in breaking down development silos by providing an end to end hub for developers to discover, share and reuse during and beyond development. As the Director, Product Management for Regions and Hyperforce, you will set the vision & strategy of Anypoint Platform in regards to which regions we deploy to and operate in and manage the costs of those regions to maximize addressable market while minimizing costs. You will work with cross functional teams and product leaders across MuleSoft and Salesforce products to deliver all relevant services in each of the prioritized regions, and drive business results.

The ideal candidate will be able to ramp up quickly and become familiar with every aspect of the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and the Salesforce Hyperforce, Salesforce’s next-generation infrastructure for the public cloud. You will identify opportunities to take those areas to the next level and drive a product strategy to match, and work with cross-functional teams across MuleSoft and Salesforce to deliver on that strategy. You will function as a primary subject matter expert on any and all MuleSoft region roadmap and Hyperforce. You will have a deep understanding of the cloud platforms, from strategy to functional capabilities and represent MuleSoft as a domain and product expert in all discussions relating to our journey to a globally deployed cloud service.

Responsibilities:

  • Deeply understand market and technology trends, competitive landscape, geo-political landscape and cross functional inputs and translate these into region roadmap

  • Partner with engineering, MS Compliance, Public Sector and Commerical sales teams, and other cross functional teams to deliver MuleSoft’s Anypoint platform in new regions

  • Partner with our Engineering Operations team in the deployment and on-going adoption of Hyperforce

  • Maximize our market impact by delivering strong regional and certification value propositions with clear positioning and enablement material for our field organizations

  • Partner with our Engineering Governance team to align our region roadmap with budget forecasts and manage the execution of region deployments to assure budgets are met

Requirements:

  • Passionate about working with developers, architects and product managers and deeply care about secure, resilient cloud service deployment

  • 10+ years of product management experience with experience building scalable platform products for both internal and external customers

  • Basic knowledge of financial modeling to help optimize operating costs, project sales

  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services, or other hyperscalers (Azure, GCP, OCI)

  • Ability to thrive in complex and dynamic organizational environments

  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills across Engineering, Field Sales, and Business Development.
