We are looking for a dynamic and driven Product Manager with a passion for developing and expanding our Independent Software Vendor (ISV) partner ecosystem and Strategic Partnerships. The ideal candidate will have the drive to build Commerce Cloud as the #1 destination for ISV commerce partners. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for building strategic relationships, we want you on our team. This role will report to our SVP of Product Management, will work closely with product leadership, and will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and nurturing ISV & strategic partners to drive mutual growth and success. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the software industry and a proven track record in partner management. The role is highly cross-functional and requires a candidate that enjoys navigating ambiguity, working in a fast-paced startup like environment, aligning exec stakeholders, collaborating with teams across time-zones and thinking globally.

Responsibilities:

Partner Identification & Onboarding:

Identify and evaluate potential ISV partners that align with our strategic goals.

Develop and execute onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration of new partners into our ecosystem in partnership with our central ISV Partner Teams.

Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with ISV partners.

Act as the primary point of contact for early and strategic partners, addressing their needs and ensuring their success.

Collaboration with Business Development:

Work closely with the Business Development teams to align partner strategies and initiatives.

Coordinate efforts to ensure cohesive execution of partner programs and strategies.

Product Strategy, Development, and Delivery:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate partner solutions into our product offerings.

Define and prioritize product requirements based on partner and market needs.

Work with engineers to deliver capabilities in support of strategic initiatives, or partner closely with domain teams to oversee and inform delivery.

Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence:

Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.

Provide insights and recommendations to enhance our ISV partner strategy.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

Monitor and analyze the performance of ISV partners.

Develop and present regular reports on partner performance, program effectiveness, and areas for improvement.

Marketing & Enablement:

Work closely with the marketing team to develop co-marketing strategies and campaigns.

Develop programs that incent partners to build on Commerce Cloud

Create and deliver training and enablement materials to ensure partners are well-equipped to succeed.

Qualifications:

  • Extreme sense of ownership – own the problem, the process, and the outcome. Some things may need “driving by influence”, others may need executing yourself in a hands-on manner, and yet others will need delegation.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, partner management, or business development within the software industry.
  • Strong understanding of the ISV landscape and software ecosystems.
  • Experience in the eCommerce, Order Management, and/or Payments categories.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $244,500 to $372,900.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
