Alliances, Partner Sales Manager
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced team player to join the Alliances team. This is a key and strategic role that requires a balance of strategy, sales, and a roll-up your sleeves and 'get it done' attitude. Success requires the design and execution of a plan to develop and accelerate the growth of our partner ecosystem within Strategic industries. This role requires deep expertise working in a fast-paced, cross-functional manner, ability to establish broad senior-level relationships demonstrating strong business acumen and outstanding communication skills.
The Partner Sales Manager role requires a self-starter profile and ability to manage the multiple areas of the business: sales, business development, demand generation and product specialization. This individual will hold the accountability for achieving and exceeding the performance targets jointly established with sales team in the assigned territories. Proven track record of delivering results through alliances management are key for applying for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Territory planning and execution for co-selling growth by Industries
- Execute, manage and deliver pipeline and revenue, tied to partner strategies and initiatives in close alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support all aspects of partner development, including identification of partner segments, relationship definition, partner competency and capabilities - aligned to Sales organization.
- Provide consistent alignment with partner management to ensure that our partners are developing their sales and delivery capabilities in line with Salesforce strategy and code of conduct.
- Maintain pipeline and dashboards that communicate to Executive Leadership the effectiveness of identified programs and investments.
- Demonstrable proof of producing measurable results of influenced revenue through partners.
- Work on reports development and data analysis to provide effective presentations for "data-driven" decisions.
- Ability to liaise with and motivate individuals at all levels of partner relationships
- Work closely with sales, resell, professional services, legal and ethics/compliance teams.
Expertise and skills:
- Broad-based business and information technology expertise with 7+ years in either alliance management, consulting or sales with a track record of driving successful business development activities.
- Industry Experience working with partners and their Industry Leaders/P&L owners across key Industries: FS/Insurance, Retail/CPG, Hi-Tech, HC/LS, Industrial Manufacturing and/or Communications.
- History of successfully developing and leading multiple strategic partnerships exceeding partners revenue targets.
- Ability to work with different partners profiles - local, regional and global companies.
- Good knowledge of Salesforce technology and applications products/solutions, platform and SaaS.
- Excellent spoken and written communication, interpersonal, relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work both independently and with a team.
- Proven Thought Leader and Influencer with strong record of go to market experience with SI’s and SaaS, OnDemand or other Cloud technology companies.
- Foundational sales and marketing skills - specially for demand generation planning and execution.
- High energy, enthusiasm, and passion for the business. Strong drive and character qualities that match with company core values and inspire others to follow and act.
- Fluent in English.
