Salesforce is seeking a highly analytical, articulate and collaborative Sr. Analyst to join our GTM Planning Applications team. This role is responsible for traditional strategic roadmap planning and data analytics, relying on business analysis, operational support, and systems aptitude. The output has high visibility, with this high- performance team being chartered with assisting SVP of Sales Distribution organization of Salesforce.
The successful candidate will have exceptional analysis skills that blend intellectual horsepower with advanced knowledge of our business processes to map future application roadmaps to our business objectives. Digging in to understand gaps in process and system architecture will be a main focus. Relentless curiosity, able to work independently, while seeking guidance at appropriate times, sound business judgment, and strategic thinking are required. The role requires interaction with various areas of the organization, excellent communication skills, both written and spoken and provides exposure to senior executives.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and own the roadmap for sales planning systems
- Support the operation and maintenance of existing and future quota and carving application features
- Lead all aspects of troubleshooting, updating of process flows, technical documentation
- Design and build new tools or scripts to speed up or reduce risk in existing processes
- Action on system enhancement requests from various partner teams
- Ad-hoc data analysis, data manipulation, and then being able to make decisions supported by data
- Areas of ownership. This includes policy and process, roadmaps, support, and handling partner groups
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the values & behaviors for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
- 3-5 year(s) of business analysis or product management experience
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce products
- Attention to detail with the ability to consistently retain and apply new information
- Expertise using Excel/Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, macros)
- Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Good communication, written, and customer service skills
- Ability to effectively explain technical issues at a high level to executive leadership or a nontechnical audience
- Ability to handle workload with minimal direction, including time management and accurately prioritizing work you're doing
- Influence partners, facilitate and steer group conversations, and be clear with expectations and timelines

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $128,300 to $176,500.Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
