The Cloud GTM Strategy and Operations team partners with Salesforce Product executives to drive go-to-market execution, strategic planning, business analysis, and growth across our ever growing product portfolio.
We are looking for a Manager to join our Industries organization as part of the Applications & Industries GTM Strategy & Operations team. This person will be responsible for delivering end-to-end strategic analysis and supporting strong operational cadences to achieve our quarterly & annual objectives.
You will collaborate with many cross-functional teams such as product management, data science, pricing & packaging, finance, marketing, and others. The ideal candidate will be a team player, with strong technical and analytical skills and intrinsically motivated to help improve processes within the business, as well as able to build trusted relationships with senior executive partners.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with Product executives on day-to-day operations, strategic planning, GTM execution and new product launches.
Lead strategic analysis and deliver insights to support and progress key business decisions.
Partner with leadership to develop, implement and track business plans and drive weekly forecasting, including actionable recommendations.
Support the annual GTM planning cycle for Industries – analyze and recommend new GTM strategies to accelerate business growth.
Work across the broader Applications & Industries product portfolio and Cloud GTM Strategy team to collaborate, learn and scale.
Build executive presentations, helping product leadership to craft the storyline and key messages
Define key performance metrics, build reports, dashboards and other scalable resources to derive insights into the health of the business.
Interact with cross-functional groups at senior levels (e.g. Sales Strategy, Marketing, Finance, Business Operations, M&A, etc.) to drive execution.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
6+ years at a high-growth tech company in a strategic sales/business operations role or at a top management consulting company with strong exposure to Go-To-Market/Product Strategy assignments.
Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science or another quantitative field from a Tier 1 university.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Executive presence and shown success building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, influencing and collaborating in cross-functional environments.
Highly proficient in Tableau, Excel / Google Sheets, Google Slides
Proficient SQL skills: Proficient in writing complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data
Ability to translate complex information into easily consumable insights.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment (sense of urgency, ability to adjust on the fly to unplanned situations).
Passion for data, and analysis; comfortable working with large data sets
Ability to perform complex data analyses including using SQL and build automated dashboards in Tableau and toolsets
Comfortable taking the initiative to develop solutions for unstructured problems and communicate the results to key internal customers
