Role - Tax Analyst - Transfer Pricing

About the Role
Salesforce is looking for a motivated Transfer Pricing Analyst to join our dynamic team. This individual will be working in a fast-paced, non-traditional environment while building relationships within the Tax team and the larger organization (i.e. Accounting, Finance & Strategy, Treasury and etc). The ideal candidate is one with an eagerness to learn and develop as a tax professional, strong analytical skills, and creative problem-solving skills (an out-of-the-box thinker).

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and calculate intercompany charges in accordance with the Company’s transfer pricing policies.

  • Prepare monthly transfer pricing journal entries for hedging and recording.

  • Prepare quarterly reconciliation of the Company’s intercompany accounts.

  • Assist with the preparation and presentation of quarterly transfer pricing analytics to senior management.

  • Assist with annual functional analysis interviews with business partners to support intercompany transactions.

  • Improve and support intercompany agreement inventory to facilitate business needs (i.e Accounting and Tax).

  • Assist in the drafting and coordination for signature of intercompany agreements.

  • Assist with preparation and review of transfer pricing documentation.

  • Proactively manage and maintain project deadlines.

  • Support implementation of automation tools to streamline the aforementioned processes.

  • Ensure compliance with Company SOX procedures for annual and interim reporting, documenting processes as required.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent; Master’s in Taxation or Chartered Accountant with industry experience preferred.

  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal), with the ability to communicate technical tax issues to non-tax personnel effectively.

  • Self-starter with a “better-better-never-done” mentality, capable of working independently and prioritizing multiple tasks in a deadline-driven, dynamic environment.

  • Proficient in using spreadsheets or databases with intermediate to advanced Excel skills, and eager to learn tools like Tableau and Alteryx.

  • Experience in financial systems and applications (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion, Workday) preferred.

  • Hardworking with strong attention to detail.

  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
