Team Description
The Technology Strategy team comprises executive-level consultants, technologists with a deep understanding of Salesforce products, strategists who can translate business needs and customer challenges into technology solutions, and pre-sales engineers who can create a vision and excite Partners to innovate on the Einstein 1 Platform. The team has one simple goal: To inspire partners to build cool apps on our platform to delight customers and create either Indirect-ACV, Direct Consumptive or Direct License ACV.

Role Description

We are looking for a creative and passionate Technology Strategist to engage with Technology Partners and ISV Partners to craft innovative visions that utilize our latest platform capabilities such as Einstein Copilot and Data Cloud, built on top of one of our amazing Core, Digital or Industry products.

The Technology Strategist is a pre-sales engineer, we are selling partnerships that thrive for many years to come, so the Strategist will facilitate discovery workshops to understand the partner's business, products, and customer needs.

The Technology Strategist is a design thinker, a vision creator, crafting visions that solve customer challenges, so the Strategist will ideate and produce interactive prototypes that illustrate the art of the possible and must clearly articulate the vision and the journey of a partnership achieving product-market fit and sustainable growth.

The Technology Strategist is an architect, designing solutions that pass the test of time, so the Strategist will outline a solution architecture that scales to enterprise customers, and leverage the best platform, AI, and Data products on the technology market today, the Einstein 1 Platform.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Salesforce technology via app development, implementation, or consultancy

  • Experience as a Solution Engineer or similar Pre-Sales role e.g. SI, Consultant, Enterprise, or Solution Architect where you worked directly with Customers to capture requirements and demonstrate solutions

  • Deep understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Platform with some experience in Commerce Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud


Preferred Qualifications

  • Naturally and relentlessly curious, approaching all situations with a beginner's mind

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to create and sell a vision to motivate and inspire Partners

  • Experience in Delivering Workshops e.g. Ideation, Product Validation, Business & Commercial Modeling

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies with a solution mindset and solid problem-solving skills.

  • Successfully implemented and/or managed a Salesforce program at a customer or built and launched a Salesforce AppExchange app

Note: This is an office-flexible role. The expectation is to be in-office 2-3 days a week when local to an office

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $165,060 to $220,850.

For Washington D.C based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $165,060 to $220,850.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
