About Our Team

In the role of Director,Security & Compliance Customer Success you will be responsible for working on various Salesforce public sector customer-facing activities ensuring customer understanding and accepting of our security controls and processes. You will also manage a team to support similar activities across the US and Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Host and manage complex customer security reviews from public sector agencies and government contractors mainly in the US and Canada regions.

  • Present security and compliance related topics to customers at the Salesforce Innovation Center (SIC) as well as via conference calls

  • Assist Legal organization to negotiate security and compliance language for Master Services Agreements.

  • Provide direction to Sales on customer security questionnaires

  • Publish and maintain customer facing security and compliance documents and white papers

  • Provide input to the product management and engineering organizations with customer generated requests

  • Provide security and compliance education and training to various internal organizations (Customer Success, Sales Engineering, etc.)

  • Drive process improvement via leveraging the SFDC platform

  • Work independently as well as part of a team

Experience/Skills Required

  • BS Degree in Computer Science or a technology related field

  • 10+ years experience within a Global On-demand environment with a focus on security and compliance

  • 5-7 years of customer facing presentations to ‘C’ level executives as well as technical experts

  • Knowledge of various compliance audits and security certifications (FedRAMP, ISO 27K, PCI, etc.) highly desired

  • Willingness and ability to travel to domestic and international locations

  • Good organizational skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across multiple levels and functions

  • Comprehensive knowledge of current risks, security frameworks, and trends.
