We are seeking a strong candidate for the position of ‘Regional Sales Director’ for our Technology Team to lead a team of Account Executives who are tasked with developing and growing the partnership with our most prominent and strategic customers in Germany.
The appointed RSD will lead a highly visible and motivated team that generates revenues and achieves individual, team, and organizational quotas. You'll be a valuable contributor to the corporate sales strategy while providing a definition and implementation of the plan for Sales to achieve corporate objectives. Ideal candidates should possess solid business-to-business application sales experience, ideally in the Technology or software space, and some successful people management experience.
Your Impact:
Developing and growing our partnership with the team that is responsible for the most strategic customers and hidden champions in the Technology space in Germany
Supporting Account Executives by participating and leading in client meetings and engaging other corporate resources as required
Ongoing mentoring and development of the sales team which includes recruiting, hiring, and training duties
Conducting weekly revenue forecast meetings for respective territories
Coach and professionally develop Account Executives regarding strategies to drive closure rates and opportunity identification
Reporting on sales activity
Consistently monitoring and enhancing the sales activities of the team
Shape and develop the Go To Market strategy for the Technology industry in Germany
Identify hiring and competency/skills gaps in Sales team
Role Requirements:
Proven skills in the area of prospecting, opening new accounts and developing existing accounts
C-Level Readiness, ability to build relationships and generate compelling C-Level PoVs together with the team
Deep knowledge of how to develop existing accounts
Working together with Salesforce partners
Understanding of the target markets, dynamics of the Salesforce ecosystem and major competitors
Demonstrated social skills and experience leading a team (informally as defacto team leader on the account/engagement/project or formally as a manager)
7+ years as IC in sales or sales leader experience in the Technology or Software industry.
Strong demonstrated and proven software sales experience
Demonstrated experience of implementing management theories
Fluency in English and German is essential
