We are looking for a Senior/Lead Researcher to join our Research and Insights team, supporting our foundational UX patterns, including UI/UX transformations across the #1 AI CRM. To that end, you seek out diverse data, and you triangulate them. You eagerly use new research methods to get at the heart of the issue, and you have expertise with the ‘tried and true’ ones.

Responsibilities

  • Scope and drive research projects that inform product strategy, design, and development, in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders

  • Run research projects with a heavy emphasis on usability research - using a mixture of research methods (surveys, unmoderated testing, interviews, moderated concept testing, etc.)

  • Collaborate with other researchers across all of our product teams (including Sales, Service, Commerce, etc) to drive actionability of insights

  • Synthesize research findings into insights and recommendations and work with stakeholders to socialize these findings

  • Partner fully with product owners, designers, engineers, and other researchers to provide the best possible experience for our users and customers

  • Work on fast-paced projects, requiring attention to detail and working within constrained timelines


Required Experience / Skills

  • 9+ years of experience conducting research in user experience or product design

  • Experience influencing user experience and/or product direction with actionable insights

  • Ability to plan, design, and execute usability research engagements with minimal oversight

  • Strong understanding of research methods (qualitative and quantitative) and best practices, and familiarity with a broad range of user research tools

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams (e.g. design, product management, engineering)

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

  • Strong project management, communication, and presentation skills

  • Ability to work across a globally dispersed team (including some management and stakeholders based in North America)

  • University degree in a research- or business-focused discipline or in a field emphasizing human behavior (e.g., Psychology, Anthropology, HCI, Business, Research Methodology, Experimental Design, Design Research)

  • Preferred: Previous research experience in enterprise SaaS and/or technology
