We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Data Cloud Connectivity product team. As a senior product manager in the team, you will be responsible for building and driving the strategy for data connectivity into data cloud. This will include leading the data ingestion capabilities for structured, semi-structured and unstructured data to drive data gravity in Salesforce Data Cloud and enable downstream scenarios such as harmonization, AI-driven insights and activation into both 1st party and 3rd party ecosystems to benefit Salesforce Clouds and our customers at large. You will own driving the vision and strategy to grow our connectivity ecosystem to become the industry leading enterprise data platform.

Responsibilities:

  • As the product manager on the Data Cloud connectivity team, develop a comprehensive and forward-think strategy and own the execution of Data Cloud connectivity capabilities including the framework and connectors.

  • Collaborate effectively with, and drive necessary platform requirements and dependencies with team members across engineering, cross-functional partners and partner teams that contribute to and use our connectivity ecosystem.

  • Deliver resources to support adoption through various channels, training, trailhead, blogs, open source and internal proof of concepts.

  • Engage with customers, field and customer success teams to drive customer-first experiences, get customer and research validation to help inform our roadmap, drive clarity and alignment.

  • Balance product vision & roadmap with partner and customer feedback, competitive analysis, prioritizing across a diverse set of inputs and constituents.

  • Be highly data-driven, and drive metrics and KPI for adoption and growth.

  • Deliver capabilities aligned with company's and product group's business strategy and priorities.


Minimum Requirements:

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience building and delivering core product / platform features.

  • Expertise in leading highly technical, multi-workstream product launches; experience with distributed systems or data-intensive / infrastructure products is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

  • Proven track record to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams to complete a plan.

  • Willingness to engage deeply with engineering, solution engineers and customers is a must.

  • Experience building and working with product technology in at least one of the following areas: data connectivity, data integration, DMP, Data Warehouse and proven understanding of cloud services.

  • Experience speaking publicly to executive leadership, participating in the sales cycle, and handling sensitive customer escalations.

  • Prior experience in building & delivering a product in a matrixed organization.

  • BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields or equivalent experience in technical leadership roles.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $176,800 to $243,100.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $192,900 to $265,200.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
