Slack is seeking an experienced product management to bring the strategy for Slack Data in the age of AI. Slack is the AI powered productivity platform and the conversations and data in Slack provides the foundation for how millions of daily active users come together in a simple, productive and pleasant way. In this role, the PM will drive alignment on our data strategy along with Salesforce Data Cloud and Copilot teams. This PM will also serve as a critical internal champion for our biggest technology investments.

What you will do:

  • Lead product strategy on Slack data services, infrastructure and technical operations.

  • Accelerate the AI roadmap with a data strategy bringing unstructured conversational knowledge and insights for customers.

  • Oversee execution, staffing needs, risks, and communication both internally and with customers.

  • Partner deeply with Engineering on planning, prioritization, and release management processes.

  • Partner with Slack’s Marketing, Sales and Support teams to build, prioritize and publish a roadmap based on customer insight.

What you should have:

  • Experience in product management roles building and maintaining complex software systems.

  • Deep understanding and experience in SaaS software, preferably Enterprise.

  • Ability to lead deep technical conversations on data, compliance, privacy, etc.

  • Ability to develop metrics-driven goals and measure impact.

  • Passion about Slack and the problem we are solving.

  • Ability to get the details right in order to ship a best-in-class product.

  • Ability to influence people to get things done across any job function.

  • Clear and effective written and oral communication.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $176,800 to $265,200.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
