Join us and be a part of a dynamic team that showcases the transformative use of Salesforce technology.
As the Sr. Manager of Customer Story Writing, you'll play a crucial role in crafting compelling narratives that highlight Salesforce customers' most impactful use cases and successes. This role is ideal for a skilled writer who excels at transforming complex technical stories into engaging, influential narratives. You'll be part of a talented team dedicated to uncovering and writing about our customers' challenges and successes with Salesforce.

Responsibilities:
Story Production: Write and edit customer stories, ensuring alignment with the latest messaging and showcasing inspiring use cases in a clear, differentiated, and relatable manner. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, creative, product, and sales, to ensure a cohesive and strategic approach to storytelling.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with a team of story producers, guiding them in understanding the Salesforce business, product portfolio, and offerings. Contribute to a collaborative environment that fosters excellence in storytelling.
Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure stories align with broader business goals and resonate across various platforms and audiences. Develop a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform and products, and work cross-functionally with cloud leaders and experts to showcase the best stories across use cases and industries.
Content Marketing: Support the development of strategic marketing strategies to distribute stories across key channels and target audiences, such as social media, blogs, and the web.

Job Requirements:
Storytelling Expertise: A knack for storytelling, particularly in capturing technical use cases into marketable narratives that engage, persuade, and are easy to understand. Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical details in a clear, compelling manner.
Content Creation Experience: Proven experience in writing and editing content in a marketing, communications, or related field, with a strong emphasis on technical product marketing and customer engagement.
Independent and Adaptable: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, keeping up with industry trends and technological advancements. Proficient in outbound outreach, skilled in handling objections, and adept at finding win-win scenarios through understanding and aligned priorities.

Preferred Skills:
Salesforce Knowledge: Experience with Salesforce products and the broader SaaS and B2B technology landscape.
Salesforce User Experience: Experience being an end-user of Salesforce technology, such as Sales Cloud, Slack, Tableau, etc.
Curiosity and Excellence: Constant curiosity to seek the most interesting aspects of stories and a high bar for excellence in all work.
Relationship Building: Experience in building and nurturing relationships, both with customers and internal stakeholders.
