Our Field Service Professional Services team works across technology and business stakeholders to usher customers into the next phase of their business transformation journey and achieve innovative outcomes that craft the future.

As a Technical Architect in our Field Services team, you will realize solutions for our customers by focusing on consultancy, technical development & delivery for the customers and partners to solve critically meaningful business challenges using Salesforce’s Field Service Platform (SFS). Salesforce FS product provides FSM solutions for a wide variety of customer verticals and ecosystem(s) like Telecom, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Finance etc..

You are both a big picture thinker and in-depth problem solver, your knowledge and skills are both broad and deep. You take pride in designing systems that stand up to high volumes and won't fail at critical points. You have a good mix of technical and enterprise skills when it comes to architecting a solution. The solutions you design are built for the long-term and will scale with the customer's growth plans seamlessly. You have proven experience integrating systems via API’s as well as a strong development background. You provide technical and strategic leadership to Field service implementation projects, evaluate the customer’s technical and functional requirements, and develop efficient solutions to help customers achieve their business goals. Within Field Service, you are a leader with vision whose voice and actions are essential in growing our overall Services business, team, and culture.


  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and set and manage expectations.
  • Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform.
  • Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives; identify gaps between client's current and desired end states.
  • Provide technical oversight and governance to projects as a part of the offshore delivery team, leading and being responsible for offshore deliverables.
  • Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Field Service implementation.
  • Maintain a target billable utilization aligned to the role.
  • Ability to understand a project and deep dive to debug issues.
  • From time-to-time, the person may be expected to partake in other pre-sales activities such as discovery and technical deep-dive sessions, Proof-Of-Concept (POC) development with prospects.
  • Liaise with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations.
  • Deliver high client satisfaction (CSAT).


  • B.E/MCA. in Computer Science Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role.
  • 9-12 years of overall experience with a minimum of 4-5 years on the Salesforce platform.
  • Experience in designing Field Service implementations end-to-end.
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
  • Understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions.
  • Understanding of key design patterns and large data volume limitations and best practices.
  • Understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations and how these play into platform architecture.
  • Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating different systems together.
  • Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies.
  • Experience defining the system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes.
  • Strong background in design/development of cloud-based systems, or complete software product lifecycle exposure.
  • Basic understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Service Cloud.
