Salesforce Inc. seeks Senior Solution Architect in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Collaborate within the Strategic Projects consulting team to deliver large-scale, custom salesforce implementations. Lead consultative engagements with complex enterprise customers, partnering with key stakeholders to build compelling visions while advising and executing on strategies. Serve as a hands-on advisor, using functional and/or technical knowledge, Salesforce product knowledge, and knowledge of the client’s business to deliver customer return on investment (ROI). Deliver strategic vision and drive the difficult conversations vital to execute business strategies to obtain customer acceptance by understanding. Analyze issues and obstacles to determine root cause(s), weigh options, choose appropriate courses of action, and measure and revise strategy based on results. Collaborate with both technical and functional customers to understand requirements, analyze information, and design comprehensive solutions. Utilize a strong understanding of typical business challenges faced by customers and common objectives. Contribute to thought leadership and best practices: both internally in their community and externally in the marketplace. Assist clients consistently meet/exceed goals and metrics and deliver high client satisfaction (CSAT). ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or related field, OR Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) JavaScript; (3) jQuery; (4) HTML; (5) CSS; (6) Solution Design; (7) Agile Methodology; (8) Salesforce CPQ; (9) Requirement Elicitation; (10) Gap Analysis; and (11) Apex. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $170,955.00 - $236,900.00 per annum.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $170,955 to $236,900.
