Job Duties: Design and build out the next generation of industry leading, globally highly available at scale Identity and Authentication Services to power our customers Identity use cases across our entire product portfolio, including acquisitions. Help re-architect the login service that currently handles billions of logins per month and runs Authentication for all Salesforce platforms & properties. Work on new and existing protocols such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML that we pioneered amp; adopted in partnership with other industry leaders. Solve challenging engineering problems both in the Identity and Security domain, as well as around distributed systems problems such as replication, high availability, and scalability as we move into our next chapter of both B2B and B2C growth. Design, develop, debug and operate mission critical systems. Balance live-site management, feature delivery, and retirement of technical debt. Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovations that improve system availability, resilience, and performance. Drive and deliver functionality on a regular cadence with data-driven feedback loops in an agile environment. Create, maintain and share technical documentation. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or two (2) years of experience in the job offered.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) XML; (3) SQL; (4) SOAP; (5) REST; (6) C++; (7) HTML; (8) JS; (9) Spring Boot; and (10) Postgres SQL. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Special Skills can be gained through academic coursework, scholastic achievement, or professional experience. Telecommuting is an option.

Salary: $147,368.00 - $227,700.00 per annum.
