About Salesforce

We’re Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI+ Data +CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too — driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good – you’ve come to the right place.

Have you ever watched a Salesforce keynote and wondered who created those product demonstrations? That's our team and we're hiring!

The Portfolio Marketing Demo Team is looking for a Technical Product Marketer — someone who loves our suite of products, understands the customization possibilities of the Einstein 1 Platform, and can wrap it all up in an engaging demo story. Our Technical Product Marketers team up with our developers and designers to build out custom demos through components, dashboards, customized sales and service consoles, and whatever else is needed to push the boundaries of our platform, deliver the visionary art-of-the-possible, and showcase our customers’ success stories to the world through live presentations at our customer-facing events.

This job is fun and moves fast. One day you might be working on an innovative demo for one of our World Tour events, and the next you're working on one for a special internal event. We are looking for a quick study who can remain calm and resilient in this fast-paced environment (and bringing in a little fun too never hurt).

Interested in joining our team? Keep reading and reach out to us!

  • Support and lead our keynote product demonstrations at Salesforce events shown around the globe by collaborating with your designer and developer, and writing the demo script for the presenter

    • Work closely with Customer Marketing to obtain customer approvals of our demo stories

    • Partner with Corporate Messaging on the narrative of our demonstrations and create a wholistic keynote presentation experience

    • Coach Salesforce executives on their delivery of the demo presentation

    • Align with the Keynote logistics team on all production elements —it’s like producing a play!

    • Manage the relationship with all of our wonderful audio/visual production vendors to bring our demos to life

  • Partner closely with Product Management and other Product Marketers across our entire product portfolio to understand the product strategy, distill the key functionality into clear terms, and define the differentiated value into core product positioning.

    • Bonus: We get to push the vision and future functionality of our products with our Product teams

  • Work with the broader team to develop innovative new ways to showcase our demos

  • Keep up with current technology trends and how emerging technology can be incorporated into our keynotes

Desired Skills:

  • Confident personality who can successfully define and drive project execution with minimal guidance

  • Strong communication skills

    • Present clearly and concisely in front of Salesforce executives, vendors, partners, and customers

  • Script-writing: Craft compelling demo narratives that accurately position our products and align to our corporate messaging

  • Team player with proven ability to lead and inspire through influence

  • Creative thinker that can generate innovative ideas and lead a cross-functional team to drive execution

  • Effective and timely project management skills

  • Driven, self-motivated, flexible, and resilient

  • Experience in product marketing, product management, or solution engineering at a high tech company, or similar equivalent
  • Experience with enterprise applications such as CRM, ERP, customer service or homegrown solutions
  • Salesforce Certifications (Administrator, Developer) and Trailhead badges a plus, but not required
  • Proven track record performing well in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel to both domestic and international locations ~25% travel +/-
