Events are an integral part of Salesforce’s marketing and enablement strategy and this is an exciting opportunity to be a key leader on the Partner Communications, Channels, and Events team. The Director of Partner Events will lead a small but mighty team of international marketers focused on bringing our campaigns to life through events, owning planning, execution and follow-through of innovative partner-facing marketing event experiences globally. In this role, you’ll work across the Partner Marketing team to support the GTM goals for our diverse ecosystem of global tech and consulting partners at scale.
This position demands exceptional marketing skills and a strong events background. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, partners, and external agencies/vendors. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, outstanding attention to detail, expertise in managing high-visibility events, unshakable nerves, and an unrestrained desire to master and contribute to the best practices of delivering a world-class partner events experience.
Responsibilities Include:
Develop and implement event strategies that align with the company's brand, mission, and business objectives.
Collaborate cross-team with marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure event success and ROI.
Manage the events team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
Maintain event budgets with accuracy and financial compliance.
Support broader team in building the campaigns and follow-up plans related to the events.
Analyze event outcomes and prepare reports on key performance metrics.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas into event planning.
Qualifications:
8+ years of relevant experience in marketing program management with a focus on events.
Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
Highly organized, detail oriented with exceptional project and time management skills.
Appetite for feedback and ability to adapt in a constantly evolving environment.
Creative problem solving abilities for both quick fixes and areas where larger strategic solutions are needed.
Experience working with teams across multiple departments, functions, and timezones.
Strong desire to understand and contribute the broader campaign that the event is a part of.
Willingness to travel as needed for events.

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $159,000 to $230,600.For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $174,800 to $253,600.Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
