Salesforce Inc. seeks Senior Software Engineer in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Independently deliver high-quality features by being a high-performing hybrid Engineer. Drive your own designs and take on features with greater complexity. Solve implementation problems and make design decisions. Deliver work as a developer, reviewer, and tester of features of medium complexity, from design to execution. Help manage the complexities of delivering features—slicing stories and epics, defining tasks, and exposing dependencies and risks. Write design specifications for features and do research spikes, when needed. Assess and evaluate feature requests and issues to make sure they're feasible. Provide technical coaching and mentoring to AMTS and MTS team members to help improve their overall skills and knowledge, primarily by using techniques such as pair programming and reviews. Help organize work so that tasks are delegated to more junior team members, matching their skills and providing growth opportunities. Document features and processes for internal audiences (peers, the Content and Communications Experience team, and Support). Work with Technical Writers on developing customer-facing documentation. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Statistical Data Analysis; (2) Web Development; (3) Machine Learning; (4) Data Mining; (5) MySQL; (6) PHP; (7) Hadoop; (8) CSS; (9) Python; and (10) Docker.

Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $151,800.00 - $227,700.00 per annum.
