Staff Program Manager, Research Operations

Staff Program Manager, Research Operations - Experience Range between 3 to 7 Yrs in the IT Industry
The Salesforce Research & Insights Operations & Program Management team is currently seeking a Staff Program Manager, Research Operations to join our fast-growing team. As a Staff Program Manager, Research Operations you'll partner with researchers across multiple product areas and geographically distributed across time zones to strategize and execute recruiting for research projects.

You'll be an integral part of the research process, driving recruiting strategy and ensuring quality participants are found.

You'll foster relationships with our customers and empower them to participate in the research program to impact future generations of Salesforce products and customer experience.

To be successful in this role, you will need to adapt easily to changes in requirements and are able to switch directions quickly.

You are self-driven and can prioritize when faced with multiple projects, but know when to ask for help. You provide proactive, thorough communication, both written and verbal. Ultimately, you are a professional team player with a positive attitude and approachable even when you are managing several projects. The ideal candidate will be flexible, detail-oriented, and have excellent interpersonal skills.

Your impact:

  • Build partnerships with cross-functional teams (Legal, Privacy and Security, Procurement, Finance, IT, etc.) to help scale the operations of the Research & Insights organization

  • Learning a variety of product spaces and research operations best practices to help scale the business

  • Develop recruiting strategies for multiple research activities at a time, and execute against them

  • Identify and source participants who are a fit for research activities

  • Provide participant scheduling and coordination support for researchers

  • Manage and provide support for customer-facing events and programs

  • Act as a trusted advisor and provide solutions, in partnership with your peers & manager, to support research efforts

  • Manage vendors to purchase products and services for end-to-end research, participant sourcing, research tools/software, incentives, and more

  • Develop and leverage repeatable tools, templates, process documentation, and communication plans for various programs and efforts

  • Contribute to developing and upholding research safety and data management protocols in partnership with Legal, Privacy, and Security

  • Comfortable working in the face of ambiguity, and able to solve immediate needs in balance with competing priorities

  • Showcasing problem statement and help connect the dots for stakeholders across the organization, with comfortability speaking to large groups

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience of at least 3-5 years in a customer-facing role, research/UX operations, or project management capacity

  • Experience concurrently coordinating multiple fast-moving projects of varying levels of complexity and follow-through

  • Excellent communication skills—you can quickly establish an easy rapport with a wide variety of people through both speaking and writing

  • Relationship-building skills that can promote collaboration with other teams from Legal, Privacy & Security, Procurement, Marketing, Community Operations, etc.

  • Creative, analytical, and methodical in approach to problem-solving - in partnership with peers & manager, able to identify problems and make reasoned decisions with imperfect or ambiguous information, and be proactive in identifying and recommending the best path forward

  • Bonus experience: working with research, analytics, or technical environments and geographically distributed teams
