We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and dedicated individual contributor to lead the roadmap, strategy and execution for Salesforce’s Lightning reports and dashboards product. This world-class product includes the experiences and platform services related to report building, dashboarding and data modeling (report types) that are used by millions of people around the world to get operational insights on their Salesforce data. The product manager will continually manage this highly available, trusted and reliable reporting platform to drive our user engagement targets, and partner on new delightful user experiences by leveraging Salesforce’s investment in Data Cloud, Slack and Einstein AI.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating both at breadth and depth as an individual contributor delivering impact in a complex environment. From a breadth perspective, driving cross-functional organizational alignment across groups such as Engineering, Product, User Experience, Content Experience, and support. From a depth perspective, you should be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to dig into long-standing product gaps, engage with trailblazer community, deeply understand the problem space to prioritize strategic capabilities and architectural choices for the future success of our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and deliver the next generation of Salesforce’s Lightning Reporting and Dashboard Experiences. This includes defining market needs, product vision and strategy, roadmap, requirements gathering, release planning, functional specification all the way through to customer enablement and success.

  • Work collaboratively with Engineering, Cross-Cloud Product Managers, User Experience, Content Experience, and Support to execute on product roadmap

  • Drive alignment and communicate product plans across all levels of the organizations including senior executives.

  • Engage with customers and Trailblazer community as a product expert and trusted advisor around Salesforce analytics portfolio to ensure their success, handle user problems, requirements analysis and product planning activities.

  • Present product capabilities, vision, value propositions, and roadmap briefings to customers, prospects, the cross-cloud teams, and at other public events.

  • Perform the role of champion to promote and evangelize the product and new features with marketing, sales, support, professional services, partners and customers

  • Create and deliver compelling demos for internal and external use

Who you are:

  • Domain Knowledge. Experience in Analytics, Data Modeling, and Enterprise business applications

  • Customer and user focused. You have the ability to put yourself in a users’ shoes and understand their needs. You listen closely to all avenues of feedback.

  • 12+ years of total experience and 8+ years in Product Management in analytics platform and B2B/B2C software development, with a solid understanding of Product Management practices.

  • Demonstrated experience in the agile software development process.

  • Professionalism, dedication and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

  • High energy, drive, and a passion for building new and innovative products

Nice to Have

  • Experience in CRM, Service, or Marketing, particularly as it relates to analytics

  • Experience with B2C Consumers, mobile and collaboration technologies

  • Experience with AI/ML technologies to drive user productivity

  • Extensive data visualization knowledge

  • Cloud computing or SaaS experience
