RVP, Signature Success Plan Sales
Department Description:
The Customer Success Group’s (CSG) Offer Management team is a product management organization that productizes the CSG capabilities that will help customers realize business value from their Salesforce technology investment. This team is a “messenger of the market” to the rest of the CSG organization, identifying the best market segments and opportunities for success offers. We maintain a multi-year roadmap for our portfolio, develop research-backed business cases for offer development and positioning, and manage the entire portfolio from design to end of life. We adhere to a governance framework to effectively manage and coordinate cross-functional work. Once offers are launched, we measure offer performance and identify changes to improve the experience customers and Salesforce employees have with our offers.
Role Description:
The RVP of Signature Success Plan Sales will possess a combination of proven skills that include solution selling, business acumen, technical ability, contracting, and teaming. This Sales leader will leverage these skills to position the sale of Signature Success Plans to provide the right level of support for customers who are employing the most robust and technically complex Salesforce solutions.
This RVP of Signature Success Plan Sales will lead a team of CSG Signature Success Sales Executives aligned to a territory, and who are responsible for driving the bookings of Signature Success Plans across a variety of Salesforce platforms. This leader will serve as a player-coach, actively working with cross-functional team members to solve challenging customer problems and coordinate internal and external resources effectively. In addition, the individual will be responsible for forecasting, driving initiatives and programs, and relationship-building across various stakeholders. The role will cover products from our portfolio of subscription services Success Plans.
Your Impact:
Success will be measured by the overall performance of the assigned territory for Signature Success Plan sales performance. A successful RVP of Signature Success Plan Sales will:
- Achieve targets for Signature Success Plan Sales across bookings, attach, upgrades, and conversions at renewal.
- Build relationships with relevant internal stakeholders to review territories and identify strategies and opportunities to include Signature Success plans.
- Attract top talent, and coach and develop a high-performance sales team.
- Drive operational rigor around forecasting accuracy, team performance, and territory performance is required.
- Collaborate effectively with other parts of the organization, including, but not limited to: License sales, sales operations, delivery, product management and operations, success and legal teams.
Required Experience:
- Bachelors degree
- 10+ years experience in quota-carrying Sales, Marketing, or Services (consulting sales, technical sales or support sales)
- 5+ years of experience leading, managing, coaching, and developing staff
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex technical and business environments
- Demonstrable understanding of mission-critical support processes with enterprise customers
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically while ensuring effective execution
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to drive multiple organizational and leadership priorities
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, demonstrated by the ability to grow and nurture relationships with internal partners
- Experience in engaging with enterprise customers of varying functions and levels of seniority, including C-suite executives
- Experience in building and presenting business value cases
- Track record of managing a large sales territory and exceeding targets

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $283,920 to $379,820.For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $258,090 to $345,240.For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $283,920 to $379,820.Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
