About Salesforce

We’re Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI+ Data +CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too — driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good – you’ve come to the right place.

The Alliances & Channels (A&C) Acquisitions & Strategic Initiatives team is seeking an Integration & Program Manager. The team leads strategic initiatives that accelerate partner growth through revenue contribution and expertise. We work across functions to align stakeholders and drive mutual success and outcomes. Key initiatives include accelerating the integration of acquisitions across all partners and delivering business transformation initiatives critical to Salesforce’s goal of doubling margin and improving performance.

In this role, you are a critical team member collaborating with many partners - across many internal organizations and at all levels - to plan, implement and deliver programs of all sizes and complexities. To succeed in this role, you will organize, build trust, and influence A&C stakeholders, Information Technology (IT) teams, Corporate Development, and M&A functions to develop integration strategies supporting GTM objectives and company priorities. You must be comfortable working in ambiguity and making/influencing decisions with information available to you.

The ideal candidate is willed to take action, impact-focused, a strong problem solver, and has experience integrating Go-to-Market (GTM) processes and systems using their strong program and project management experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to organize, drive, and manage small to medium sized programs or workstream(s), with little oversight, within a program. Apply project management governance and tools (such as Smartsheet) to manage timeline, risks, issues, and dependencies.

  • Project manage initiatives or integration efforts with a high discipline towards implementing project management fundamentals. Ability to influence others to keep projects on track.

  • Support Integration Leads through due diligence, analyzing a target company’s partner ecosystem, formulating an integration strategy, assessing the risks and mitigations to contribute to “go / no go” acquisition decision. Lead due diligence and integration for small deals.

  • Define the A&C M&A processes and systems integration plan, with support from Integration Lead, based on deal objectives, GTM goals, and due diligence findings.

  • Represent the team through integration or strategic initiative planning across discovery, requirements gathering, roadmap execution, user acceptance testing, and change management.

  • Lead change management activities for the team including communications, training, and adoption activities.

  • Collaborate with Information Technology to influence system integration solution decisions that support GTM objectives while adhering to integration guiding principles, data governance standards, and follow the long-term systems roadmap.

  • Collaborate with team members to remove roadblocks and progress programs. Be transparent - communicate often. Identify key program metrics and report progress.

  • Plan, manage and participate in Steering Committee meetings with senior leadership to drive key decisions.

  • Establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization at all levels, and be viewed as a standout colleague with exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Project and Program Management Skills: Demonstrated project management discipline. Experience in planning, and driving design and implementation of complex, business and system requirements. Ability to work well under aggressive timelines and juggle multiple priorities. Strong work and time management skills.

  • M&A Experience: Prior experience with M&A, specifically integration of various business processes. Due diligence experience is a plus.

  • GTM Knowledge: Experience in the Go-to-Market (GTM) motion of a SaaS company. Understands various sales and post sales models and what is required to accelerate growth. Partner ecosystem knowledge is a plus.

  • Data Management: Data quality and data integrity skills to assess, compile and data for decision making as well as to be able to extract key information and simplify into executive-level messaging.

  • Process Improvement Skills: Ability to analyze and optimize defined areas or processes within a cross-functional organization. Effective in implementing new and improved processes.

  • Executive Communication Skills: High EQ, low ego. Strong communicator equally adept at communications strategy and execution, with the ability to independently craft a full range of clear, high-impact communications.

  • Influencing and Interpersonal Skills: Able to build trusted relationships. Ability to motivate, collaborate, and work successfully in a team environment. Able to creatively drive alignment across all levels. A Change Ambassador.

OTHER SKILLS/PREFERRED:

  • 5-7 years experience in program management independently leading medium to large, cross functional programs and/or M&A experience leading due diligence and integration planning and execution involving multiple enterprise systems.

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Management Information Systems, or related B.S. degree, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Salesforce CRM knowledge is a strong plus and heavily recommended.

  • Strong Google suite skills. Ability to quickly ramp on collaboration technologies (Slack, Quip, Smartsheet).
