Join Us in Scaling Success at Salesforce's Media Lab

Are you ready to be a driving force behind the expansion of Salesforce's Media Lab? As we establish a global hub for strategic, adtech, operational, and intelligence excellence, we seek adept marketers with a passion for digital innovation to contribute to building this world-class organization.

Your Impact

As an Operational Unit (OU) Media Strategist, you will serve as the architect of an end-to-end media strategy for a designated region. Your primary objective will be to orchestrate the performance and expansion of your region, from growing awareness and consideration to generating quality leads, cultivating a high-converting pipeline, and ultimately driving revenue for our sales partners. In this integral role within the Media Lab, you will:

  • Lead a Team of Excellence: Manage a team of five senior Media Strategists, focusing on individual development, performance metrics, team cohesion, and continuous process improvement. Facilitate knowledge sharing and troubleshoot stakeholder and business challenges.

  • Region-Specific Media Ownership: Take charge of media performance across all EMEA regions. Collaborate closely with the EMEA channel strategy team to craft and implement media plans that foster measurable growth from brand recognition to demand generation.

  • Strategic Business Integration: Immerse yourself in the intricacies of your business, comprehending key challenges, objectives, and audience dynamics. Ensure your media strategy remains agile, adapting dynamically to evolving business needs, and inspire your team to explore innovative approaches.

  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Cultivate and own relationships with senior stakeholders in field, integrated, and product marketing teams. Effectively communicate performance metrics, foster feedback loops, and address impediments to optimize team efficiency and meet targets.

  • Pioneering Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest media trends and vendor technologies, ensuring our media strategies remain at the forefront of innovation. Drive creative optimization strategies and foster feedback loops with designers, integrated marketing, and product marketing teams.

Requirements

  • Expertise: Mandatory 10+ years of professional experience in performance marketing or general online/digital marketing, preferably within the B2B industry.

  • Leadership: Mandatory 5+ years of people management experience in digital marketing.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced environment; prior agency or start-up experience is a plus. Ability to work autonomously, using your skills even in the absence of flawless information.

  • Relationship Building: Proven track record of building robust relationships with stakeholders at all levels, facilitating great work both for yourself and your team.

  • Skill Proficiency: Fluency across various digital channels, including paid social, programmatic display, content syndication, review sites, 3rd party email, and webinar distribution.

  • Communication: Exceptional communicator with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.

  • Analytical Prowess: Strong analytical thinking, a driven problem solver, and a curiosity that extends beyond the 'what' to understand the 'why.'

  • Tech Proficiency: Proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets.

  • Language Skills: Second European language skills are a plus.
