A Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement and Data Cloud Technology Architect (TA) is a strategic position to our customers and within the professional services organisation. Technology Architects are experienced technical subject matter experts within specific domains of Salesforce Marketing Cloud applications and tools. You should also be able to work as a strategic consultant and drive our key customer engagements. You have proven experience of working on high-quality solutions for multiple large enterprise clients. You should be able to understand the requirements of the client, collaborate with various internal and external teams, drive the technical and solution design, and finally deliver a quality implementation of the project.

About the Position

  • Understand/Create solution architecture documents

  • Drive Client Workshops and Create the Technical Architecture/Blue Print Documents

  • Develop product knowledge in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, Salesforce Data Cloud

  • Provide technical consultation on various aspects of solutions and best practices.

  • Implement complex development and configuration activities for clients

  • Drive thorough quality assurance tests

  • Develop ‘as built’ documentation throughout the project to provide seamless handover

  • Drive discovery and design workshops and document requirements, deliverables, assumptions and exclusions.

  • From time-to-time the Technical Architect may be expected to partake in other pre-sales activities such as discovery and technical deep-dive sessions, Proof-Of-Concept (POC) development with prospects

  • Liaise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud product teams to support client implementations

  • Travels to client sites for onsite discovery and solutions presentations. Not expected to exceed 25%.

  • Build strong relationship with the client.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of overall experience with 6+ years in Salesforce Marketing technologies

  • Excellent consulting skills to engage clients in a to deliver trusted advice on their implementations

  • Experience architecting, designing & implementing solutions with Salesforce Marketing Cloud - email studio, ad studio, journey builder, automation builder, amp script, subscriber management, cross channel journeys, IP warming, Einstein etc.

  • Experience architecting, designing & implementing solutions with Salesforce Data Cloud - Data Model, Data Transformation, Identity Resolution, Segmentation, Activation, Data Kit, Data Action, Flows, Standard Connectors etc.

  • Experience working with and developing complex and optimized SQL queries

  • Experience of SOAP, REST, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud APIs

  • Experience with systems integrations such as CRM, Content Management, POS/eCommerce, or Web Analytics.

  • Familiarity with SDLC methodologies including requirements, design, implementation, testing and maintenance

  • Experience with Product lifecycle management frameworks like Jira and Version Control tools.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization and Intelligence.

  • Familiarity with security standards such as TLS, SSL, data encryption algorithms

  • Familiarity with other client side web development design languages, scripting tools, and protocols such as HTTP, CSS, JQuery, HTML, XML, AMPScript, JSON and JavaScript etc.

  • Experience working with visualization software applications such as MS Visio/Lucid Charts

  • Experience with one/or more server side programming languages such as JAVA, PHP, Ruby, C#, VB.NET, Python

  • Desirable: Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications - Admin, Developer, Consultant, Email Specialist

  • Desirable: Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant
