The Business Technology Self-service is looking for a Product Manager to join the team! We lead the eCommerce technology strategy, customer enablement, applications engineering, infrastructure, collaboration, enterprise operations, architecture, and program enablement.

You will help drive product strategy for eCommerce in partnership with leaders across Salesforce; drawing from a deep knowledge-base in eCommerce, GTM, or quote-to-cash. This position will grow our self-service capabilities and work closely with partners to enhance self-service experiences and drive customer adoption. This role will be focused on deeply understanding the needs of our customers, developing innovative solutions, prioritizing the most impactful initiatives, and driving the roadmap.

In office (Dallas, TX, Indianapolis, IN or Atlanta, GA) expectations are 10 days/a quarter to support customers and/or collaborate with their teams. This is not a remote opportunity.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Engage customers and stakeholders to understand problems and develop solutions, considering business and technical considerations, and strategic goals, as well as provide recommendations based on your industry and product experience.

  • Deliver user stories, roadmaps, burn-down, change management and other success activities to ensure successful launch.

  • Partners to drive and align on roadmap prioritization using data driven methodologies; Communicate roadmap priorities, resource trade-offs, and your decision making process

  • Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily scrum, retrospectives, and refinement

  • Support product and business capability KPIs (short and long term) and provide regular updates to the Business and Workstream Leads and the SteerCo/Executive team on progress.

  • Use data analysis to determine strategy to advance operations for customers in all segments and provide analysis on how to move the segments across capabilities and technology paths to reach business outcomes.

  • Support data deliverables for decision support and operational processes and system and process implementations for Salesforce Core systems integration strategies; this includes project management responsibilities

  • Design and build out strategy key performance indicators and Tableau reporting toolkits for the product team implementing the new Salesforce Revenue Cloud offering with a goal to influence and advise Salesforce product development strategy and features.

  • Create data visualizations & reports that help teams with planning and project execution; Provide timely and accurate reporting to a variety of teams, on a range of topics.

  • Define gaps in our current policies and processes. Look for ways to simplify current and future processes with an eye toward automation.

  • Partner with cross-functional teammates to drive workgroup alignment meetings to address tactical release issues, dependencies, team status, production issues, metrics review, etc. (cross functional - Product Management, Scrum Masters, Engineering, Platform Engineering, TechOps, Release Engineering, Capacity, Functional Managers, Release Management, etc.).

  • Collaborate on M&A and Q2C data frameworks promoting agile, iterative practice to migrate sophisticated acquisitions and cross-entity collaboration.

  • Participate in program reviews (deep dive into current state of project goals, risks) in whatever forum required; anticipate and remove obstacles with a sense of urgency which prevent project teams from delivering on project goals.


Minimum Requirements

  • 2+ years of eCommerce experience in Product, Engineering, or Operations role

  • 6-8 years professional experience in eCommerce, quote-to-cash, GTM teams or engineering experience at an enterprise technology company

  • 3+ years Product Management experience with demonstrated history of successfully implementing and managing SaaS product development programs; strong knowledge of the SaaS business model and its product development lifecycle

  • Exceptional data analysis & problem-solving skills, including attention to detail and ability to manage various data points to achieve a common goal (people knowledge, data warehouse, Excel files, external tools, other internal data)

  • Deep experience with the software development lifecycle; ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment using agile methodologies

  • Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives, working teams and technical and non-technical team members alike

  • Outstanding organizational, communication, and relationship building skills conducive to driving consensus; able to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment

  • Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent self-management practices and an independent thinker; exceptional work ethic; self directed and resourceful

  • Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks at one time

  • Proven project execution skills with a strong desire to document best practices and process improvements

  • A related technical degree required

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with GTM processes and systems

  • Experience with Finance or Revenue processes and systems

  • Experience with Salesforce technology
