We are looking to add a new member to our Product Marketing team, focusing on our new data experience powered by generative AI, Machine Learning, and Metrics Layer, as well as our Insights Platform. In this role, you will work closely with product, sales, and campaigns teams, understanding and contributing to the product roadmap and creating messaging and go-to-market strategies to reach all our audiences.

You will be responsible for connecting the what, how, and why to create marketing content that brings one of our latest innovations to our Tableau customers in an authentic and engaging way. Sound like a fit? If so, please apply!

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the general manager to own marketing, GTM and success for Tableau Pulse.

  • Own the core messaging and positioning for all our audiences that can be adapted across various channels, social, web, events, etc., and experiment with new ways to reach this audience.

  • Work collaboratively to help create product materials ranging from demos to web copy to presentations to whitepapers, and more to deliver the product messaging to market.

  • Coordinate with the broader marketing team to position Tableau Pulse through sales and partner channels.

  • Work with product management and development to understand and communicate the company’s vision, and help shape the evolution of the product by providing provide key feedback.

  • Work with the pricing team to package the product into a compelling value proposition for our customers.

  • Help carry out company product launches and releases – from crafting messaging, content, and initiatives to tracking progress and measuring results

  • Be a thought leader and act as a spokesperson for Tableau at events and with the press and analysts.

  • Present to audiences at live meetings, webinars, and at a variety of Tableau events and tradeshows.

  • Support the Tableau Sales team with demos, presentations, and product knowledge.

Required Skills / Experience

  • 5-7+ years of experience in product marketing or product management.

  • Strong strategic marketing skill set, able to hone in on the core value proposition and customer benefit of the product.

  • Ability to work with product management, think about the customer experience, and translate that into a go-to-market strategy.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and work directly with senior leadership.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML, data, analytics, BI, or adjacent space is preferred. B2B marketing experience is a must.

  • Excellent at driving cross-functional alignment, from working with product to sales and marketing.

  • Excellent writing ability, including the ability to communicate technical concepts.

  • Strong presentation skills.

  • Enthusiasm for a fast-changing environment.

  • The ability to own projects from start to finish.

  • Strong entrepreneurial drive.

  • Experience with Tableau products (bonus).

  • Must be willing to come into the office 3 x's a week to a listed hub.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $121,800 to $167,400.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
