Salesforce is looking for a high-performing, result-oriented Counsel to join our UK & Ireland commercial legal team, based in London. The commercial legal team delivers innovative, trusted and world-class legal services to advance and protect Salesforce's interests while creating a fulfilling work environment for our legal family. We are a team with a great team spirit sharing a passion for legal thinking. Our aim is to drive sales performance and foster customers’ relationships. Although our main activity is contractual negotiation with customers, we are also frequently involved on subjects related to high tech, data protection and artificial intelligence. Responsibilities:

  • Review and negotiate agreements related to Salesforce cloud business, such as main subscription agreements, non-disclosure agreements, data protection addenda, reseller agreements, and order forms in support of the sales, and alliances teams.

  • Work with the sales teams, as well as revenue recognition, sales operations and pricing teams to support processes for contracting and order processing.

  • Closely partner with the other internal teams such as privacy, security and compliance to ensure agreements are consistent with internal policies.

  • Provide legal support in relation to existing contracts.

  • Assist in developing training materials and provide training to the business.

  • Participate in cross-regional team projects as needed.

Experience/Skills Required:

  • LLB or equivalent legal qualification in the UK.

  • Between 2 and 4 years of post-qualification experience gained either in a reputable City law firm (or equivalent) and/or in-house in a large company supporting IT contracts’ negotiation.

  • Fluency in Hebrew or any other European languages highly valued.

  • Substantive expertise in data privacy and intellectual property law.

  • Outstanding legal drafting skills, attention to details, strong legal reasoning.

  • Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to embrace change, organize, prioritize and manage deadlines, in a fast pace, demanding and constantly evolving environment.

  • Highly responsive, can-do and service-oriented attitude. Ability to handle pressure.

  • Team spirit and collaborative attitude.

  • Familiar with technical concepts: cloud computing/digital transformation/Artificial Intelligence.

  • A sense of humor is a plus!
