About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Manager to lead the daily operations of our GSOC in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment. This role oversees both full-time employees (FTEs) and contracted vendor staff to ensure consistent, high-quality operational performance. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong incident management experience, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to build and mentor a high-performing team.
In this role, you will:
Lead and manage GSOC personnel, including FTEs and vendor staff, through scheduling, training, and performance management.
Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent, high-quality operations.
Oversee global security monitoring, including access control (Genetec), video surveillance, ambient AI analytics, and related platforms.
Manage incident response — detecting, triaging, escalating, and resolving security events while maintaining executive-level communication.
Coordinate emergency notifications via platforms like Everbridge.
Drive situational awareness and travel security programs, including risk assessments and ISOS alerts.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Corporate Security, Workplace, IT, and HR to align security posture with company goals.
Produce accurate incident logs, metrics, and after-action reports, and identify areas for continuous improvement.
You may be a fit for this role if you have:
5+ years of GSOC experience, with at least 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory role.
9+ years of combined security experience across corporate security, law enforcement, or military service.
Documented military service or equivalent operational leadership experience (strongly considered).
Proficiency in Genetec Access Control and Video Management Systems.
Familiarity with Everbridge, Jira, Slack, and Google Workspace.
Experience with ambient AI analytics and ISOS travel risk monitoring (preferred).
Strong incident management and crisis decision-making skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of briefing executives clearly and concisely.
A collaborative mindset and commitment to building high-performing, customer-focused teams.
