Senior Manager, Production Infrastructure Equipment

NVIDIA is searching for an outstanding Senior Manager to lead Production Infrastructure Equipment and engineering lab activities. As a Production Equipment manager, you'll work in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary group, with NVIDIA 's global integrated circuits final test and wafer sort mass production activities at worldwide lead test houses located at the Far East and at worldwide labs located mainly in Israel. At this position you’ll be working with worldwide infrastructure support vendors, contract manufacturers, internal engineering, and production groups to ensure excellent standards of manufacturability, yield improvement, and maximize throughput, efficiency, and equipment utilization.
What you'll be doing:
Manage 10-15 engineers
Manage all NVIDIA Israel equipment and H/W at Far East contractors
New equipment installation & acceptance
Improve existing equipment up time
Collaborating with equipment vendors and with NVIDIA internal operational teams.
Handle infrastructure production stability to enable test house activities with maximal utilization.
Be a key part of Manufacturing Engineering team, collaborating with Contract manufacturers, internal engineering groups to handle global test production lines equipment activities.
Defining maintenance, routines, and monitoring processes and implementation on production lines.
Establish, train, and maintain a robust production infrastructure support process to enable test manufacturing full independence.
What we want to see:
5+ years of managerial experience of 10+ engineers.
10+ overall years of practical experience as an Electrical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer.
Technical knowledge and experience with ATE (Automated Test Equipment) – testers, handlers & probers – operation, trouble shooting
Experience working with OSATS (advantage), and high-volume manufacturing environment
Experience to define and establish engineering labs
Creativity, motivation, excellent teammate, fast learning skills and independence.
Agility, the ability of changing priorities and tasks pending business and production needs.
Excellent English- oral and written communication skills.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experienced with defining processes (such as new equipment acceptance) and driving for prompt execution of said processes.
Define machinery requirement, leading equipment FAT, SAT and acceptances.
Results oriented, analytical, self-motivated, and high level of attention to details.
Ability to demonstrate experience in creative problem-solving skills, out of the box thinking.
