What you will be doing:

  • Collaborating closely with a diverse team of Software Engineers, Network Engineers, Storage Engineers, Linux/Windows/VMware administrators, and Machine Learning experts to develop a unified platform catering to the scaling needs of internal clients.

  • Designing, creating, and maintaining Python and Go-based software using contemporary DevOps tools.

  • Streamlining tasks and elevating infrastructure management through the implementation of best practices.

  • Crafting robust, scalable Go and Python programs.

  • Playing a pivotal role in harnessing AI, generative AI, and machine learning for IT operations.

  • Constructing advanced software services to facilitate rapid business expansion and taking ownership of the services you create.

What we need to see:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • Over 8 years of industry experience in extensive engineering projects, with a particular emphasis on infrastructure automation, distributed systems, and tool development for managing large-scale private or public cloud systems.

  • Proficiency in Python and Go programming; your coding and debugging expertise are pivotal to your success in this role.

  • Demonstrated commitment to sound software engineering principles and a strong willingness to acquire new skills.

  • Hands-on proficiency with databases, dashboards, and alerting systems.

  • Experience with Linux-based server platforms and containerization.

  • Expertise in CI/CD techniques, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code.

  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools and cloud-based deployments.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Proficiency in developing tools using a GraphQL API.

  • Experience in fine-tuning memory, storage, and networking settings for Linux system performance.

  • Comprehensive understanding of computer networking fundamentals, DevOps practices, and experience with data pipelines using messaging bus platforms.

  • Familiarity with asset/inventory management tools such as Nautobot, ITOM CMDB with expertise in using their APIs and other configuration automation methods.

  • Expert-level automation skills and a fervor for process automation.

The base salary range is 164,000 USD - 310,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
