We are seeking versatile engineers who are passionate about what they do and are committed to making a difference in the world through their inventions.

NVIDIA Silicon Solutions Group is seeking a versatile engineer to be part of the HW ArchDev team. The SSG team is uniquely positioned to have an end-to-end view of the product development cycle - from early arch definition through bringup to product release. Our ArchDev arm is a hub for all silicon and system-level feature development, tradeoff analysis, system integration solutions, and system POR alignment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead chip and system level low power features development to address existing and new product opportunities/requirements.

  • Deep dive into key product use cases and adapt the engineering focus accordingly.

  • Analyze chip utilization, efficiency, and latency telemetry of key product use cases to drive the development of new features with the highest return and investment tradeoff.

  • Work closely and proactively with other engineering teams such as system architects, chip and board designers, software/firmware engineers, HW/SW QA teams and Applications engineering teams to develop system level power management methodologies.

  • Drive new feature/spec debug from HW side and provide creative solution to deliver the feature into productization to achieve high product quality at aggressive schedule.

What We Need To See:

  • BS or MS degree in EE/CE or equivalent experience.

  • 8+ years of experience in Architect, develop and debug silicon and system power savings features; Analyzing Data Center, Client, or Automotive use cases with emphasis on silicon energy efficiency; Functional and Power HW validation for silicon and system power-saving features.
