We are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer. You will be building next-generation Tesla/SXM boards, work closely with cross functional teams and suppliers to drive Functional Test SW and HW solution for production purpose.

The ideal candidate will drive the scope of MFG test methodology on Tesla/SXM product with cross functional teams, review design concept, define validation plan, develop/automate config of test infrastructure to test various product features, optimize test cost/quality/manufacturability.

What you will be doing:

  • Support the upcoming roadmap execution and fast ramping of test capacity/test infrastructure(ICT+FCT) in line with fast growing of manufacturing volumes in multiple CM sites.

  • Designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment for all phases of board level product development and manufacturing.

  • Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products.

  • Schedules and equipment(ICT+FCT) required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.

  • Support diagnosis and analyze test(ICT+FCT) issues at the Tesla/SXM product with hardware, software, and operations engineering teams, Assist and provide feedbacks on board level product debug tools to SW team members.

  • Help design tools to automate Tesla/SXM product definitions, data collection, test case execution, and results analysis.

  • Assist, develop Test infrastructure ECO-System tool to serve test infrastructure for NVIDIA board level production.

What we need to see:

  • BS or MS in EE, CS, Automatic Control, Systems Engineering or equivalent experience.

  • 10+ years of experience with deep knowledge of low-level software drivers and kernel.

  • Familiar with Tesla/SXM tested platforms and Tesla/SXM tested software.

  • Ability to debug at board level and usage of probing hardware for ICT use case.

  • Excellent bilingual communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, good time management and task prioritization.

  • Proactive and drive projects with a minimum of supervision.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience in x86 assembly and knowledge of the PC architecture and power management

  • Familiarity in VB or Shell, JAVA, Perl, Python script programming

  • Your experience in MFG test(ICT+FCT) solution, failure processing, and test program development

  • Experience with running system level diagnostic tests and deeper understanding of the purpose of those tests
