NVIDIA is seeking a top-tier Software Test Manager to join the NVIDIA-Cumulus Linux Verification Engineering Team! You will play an exciting role that allows you to Manage/lead verification engineers of NVIDIA-Cumulus Linux and take full ownership of tasks involved like participating in requirements and design reviews, developing test plans, test execution, and automated test development for the specific features. You will be part of a multifaceted Software Verification Team responsible for the qualification of the Network Operating System software that powers data centers that are accelerated, disaggregated, and software-defined to meet the exploding growth in AI and high-performance computing.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing the NVIDIA Cumulus Linux Verification team members.

  • Ensure features are delivered perfectly on time and always go above and beyond.

  • Guide team members in crafting career development plans and setting achievable goals.

  • Helping Junior team members technically when they hit roadblocks.

  • Analyzing the customer-found defects, identifying the test gaps, and ensuring they are covered in regression.

  • Functional Testing of various Layer2 and Layer3 features of NVIDIA Ethernet Switch systems running NVIDIA-Cumulus Linux when required.

  • Build and maintain automation required to ensure quality via continuous functional regression.

  • Collaborate with design, and other internal engineering groups to identify, report, and resolve issues found during testing.

What we need to see:

  • B.S. degree or equivalent experience in Engineering/Computer Science/related field.

  • 10+ overall years of proven experience in Software Quality Engineering.

  • 2+ years of management experience with a team of 5+ engineers.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, people management, and technical presentation skills.

  • Strong technical abilities, problem-solving, design, coding, and debugging skills.

  • Hands-on experience on any Layer2 and Layer3 protocols like MLAG, VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP, EVPN, etc.

  • Experience with using test tools from Ixia or Spirent and working experience of test management tools.

  • Strong skills in Python or other scripting languages are a must.

  • Good experience working on Unix or Linux-based OS.

  • Flexibility to work across time zones.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience that spans the entire system including data forwarding, Linux kernel networking, and system software.

  • Significant experience in the data center environment and with cloud-native concepts

  • Knowledge in building or maintaining the Automation Infrastructure.

  • Experience with CI methodology & tools (Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins).

The base salary range is 216,000 USD - 414,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
