The ideal candidate will be conducting cutting-edge research in integrated photonics-electronics, heterogeneous integration, indium phosphide integration, silicon photonics, co-packaging and system design, working alongside top authorities in these fields. With incredible resources in networking, you will be able to impact, contribute and advance these exciting domains. Topics of application include but are not limited to integrated frequency combs for high-capacity data transport. With its unique open culture, NVIDIA is one of the best industry labs to do Accelerated Computing research.
This position will be collaborating with an academic collaborator and will concurrently work towards a PhD degree. The internship work location will be in Denmark.
What you’ll be doing:
Gain hands on experience with designing photonic integrated circuits
Learn about fabrication processes
Learn about testing chips and their bring up
Partner and collaborate with other forward-thinking team members and external researchers
Have the opportunity to participate and speak at conferences and events
Publish original research
What we need to see:
Must hold a Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Photonics
Knowledge on integrated technologies is a plus
Track record of research excellence is a plus
Ability to operate on an environment with multiple stakeholders
Good communications skills
