NVIDIA is looking for outstanding candidates with strong design automation background to develop various flows to deploy efficient use of formal verification tools. The engineer will lead the task of maintaining formal verification (FV) flows across projects, maintaining the assertion library as well as resolving issues related to FV with various teams and tool related issues with vendors. They will also be engaged in FV for RTL units for next generation chip designs. This will involve the candidate having excellent interpersonal skills, knowledge of aspects of FV as well as strong scripting skills. The candidate will deploy formal verification techniques to various complex designs. They will be engaged in identifying key behaviors for verification of DUT and creating a testplan.

What you will be doing:

• Maintaining and deploying FV flow across NVIDIA projects.

• Maintaining, improving and updating assertions library. Support for both simulation and FV.

• Interaction with Vendors on tool related issues and guidance for tool improvements.

• Guiding and training team members on effective usage of FV tools.

• Developing verification environment including environment assumptions, assertions and cover properties in context of the verification plan.

• Applying various FV techniques to proof correctness of digital designs.

• Debugging RTL to identify failure scenarios.

• Developing scripts to automate the verification process.

What we need to see:

• BS/MS/PhD in CS/CE/EE/Mathematics or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of proven experience.

• Excellent command on scripting including Python, Perl and Tcl.

• Knowledge/Experience in formal verification tools/techniques (eg. JasperGold, VCF, SMV, SPIN).

• Hands-on experience with HDLs such as Verilog / System Verilog.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work with team members and collaborate optimally.
