We are the NVIDIA-Metropolis TAO (Train-Adapt-Optimize) team and are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our algorithms architecture team and develop our Generative AI and Foundational model solutions. This challenging role will require someone who deeply understands and can architect algorithms with Large Language and Multi-modal (LLM/LMM) Foundation models to advance the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning to the Smart City/Retail/Manufacturing AI market. Practical experience in the use and the building of Computer Vision algorithms, models and tools will be critical.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You will be a key member of a growing software team that can architect, analyze, develop and prototype key deep learning algorithms and solutions.

  • Study, implement and work on cutting edge image/ video-based Generative AI models.

  • Developing AI infrastructure for large scale training and workflows for multi-modal data curation.

  • Architect, design and use your software engineering expertise to optimize, deploy and productize AI models.

  • Collaborate closely with Research, Cloud, Architecture and Libraries teams at NVIDIA to develop, deploy training, fine-tuning and inferencing solutions.

What we need to see:

  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related field in Deep Learning, Machine Learning and Computer Vision or equivalent experience.

  • 4+ years of algorithm development experience or data analytics, especially with LLM’s and Multi-Modal Foundation models

  • Experience working with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and pyTorch.

  • Strong communication skills.

The base salary range is 176,000 USD - 270,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
