NVIDIA has an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Analyst in our Global Supply Chain Procurement Organization. The position requires exceptional analytical skills with a deep understanding of inventory management, materials procurement, CM management and supply chain expertise in the semiconductor industry. As an Inventory Analyst, you will be responsible for implementing key strategies to ensure turnkey component supply management across global CM partners are in adherence to our corporate policies and procedures. You will use analytics to identify and report financial risks. You will drive process and performance improvements with CM partners. Through sophisticated data analytics and modeling methods, you will develop and deploy key inventory management strategies across all CM partners to ensure supply accuracy while mitigating financial risk. This challenging position requires strong data analytical and relevant modeling skills. An individual contributor who is a strategic and analytical problem solver who can work with cross-functional teams to a common goal and have the willingness to adapt and excel in a dynamic, and fast paced environment.

What you will be doing:

  • Monitor components inventory across global contract manufacturers to ensure supply of materials is supported with firm demand or purchase orders

  • Identify discrepancies in supply (excess/shortage) and drive actions with cross functional teams to mitigate risks

  • Drive audit process with contract manufacturers to validate supply on hand and supply on order positions to ensure data accuracy

  • Drive strategic inventory programs and monitor data validation through analytics

  • Engage monthly/quarterly inventory analysis meetings with Finance to review supply vs. demand, excess liability analysis and PPV projections

  • Manage all PPV approvals with Procurement and BU teams while maintaining and monitoring quarterly budgets

  • Identify tools and methods to improve CM inventory reporting on component supply and drive alignment across all CM partners

  • Perform audits with CM to ensure adherence to inventory management processes

  • Validate E&O and other material risks, lead the efforts to monitor and mitigate liability, and recommend critical course of action to cross functional teams

  • Drive process alignments with CMs, develop and measure key performance indicators to ensure expectation and target goals are met

What we need to see:

  • MBA or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain or Operations Management (or equivalent experience)

  • 8+ years related experience in Supply Chain Planning/Procurement in the Semiconductor industry

  • Extensive experience of materials planning and supply chain management with solid understanding of electronics industry (passive/active PCBA components) supply chain

  • Strong communication and experience working with Contract Manufacturers in global regions

  • Sophisticated data analysis/analytics and modeling skills; ability to present visual data through charts/metrics/presentation slides

  • Advanced User of MS Excel; VBA, SQL, Tableau, and similar data visualization tools/dashboards experience a plus.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to problem-solve and influence others through relationships and data

  • Experience with manufacturing operations, strategy development and execution, E2E Material management

  • Flexible, agile, and possess the ability to excel in a very fast paced environment; perceive challenges through a positive outlook and drive solutions to ensure success

The base salary range is $112,000 - $247,250. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
