We are looking for a data protection analyst with a passion for privacy and data protection, to manage ongoing compliance activities. This role reports to the Manager, Data Privacy Programs and will support aspects of corporate Data Privacy Compliance programs
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Data Protection Officer, Data Privacy Programs as required in the delivery of the Data Protection Program
- Document and evaluate data processing activities
- Work closely with IT, Sales, Product, and other teams to create/implement tools, automation, training, to improve data privacy protections and ensure end-to-end data privacy compliance.
- Evaluate 3RD party risk assessment about processors, sub-processors and related data protection activities
- Maintain records to support the data protection compliance project (and audits where necessary)
- Participate in the implementation and embedding the data governance organizational model
- Manage the compliance tools and systems for data security and compliance
- Work with the business and technical stakeholders, providing advice and guidance on data quality standards to support delivery of workstreams and projects

Required Skills
Skills:
- 2–3 years prior experience in the field of Data Privacy Risk Management
- Proven knowledge in European data protection laws and practices including an understanding of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR),
- Proven knowledge of technical terms and practices such as Technical and Organizational Measures (ToMs)
- Supporting the implementation of privacy by design and privacy by default principles
- Supporting the operational departments with specific data protection related know-how
- Support the development and implementation of data governance tools and platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data governance requirements are incorporated into data solutions, ranging from Data Platforms to AI solutions
- Prior experience or knowledge in a tech company or in collaboration with a tech department is highly desired
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and interact with various stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and conceptional thinking paired with the ability to understand multiple interdependencies
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and interact with various stakeholders
- Prior experience conducting internal and external risk assessments and providing guidance to functional teams with the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of control processes, documentation, and compliance measures and / or remediation items and implementing and enforcing policies and procedures
- Experience performing third party compliance assurance assessments
- Excellent client relationship and customer service skills, with a clear client focus.
- Familiarity with core IT and Information Security Technologies (Understanding of common internet related technologies, ideally including SaaS (cloud, enterprise systems), and on-premises business application)
- Proactive, self-starter who requires minimal support

- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills in English
