JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Role:

IPSY is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist in the oversight of industrial equipment maintenance activities on day shift weekends (Friday through Monday, 0700-1730 / 7am-5:30pm). This position will be responsible for addressing emergency maintenance issues throughout all workstreams of operations, with the goal of achieving scheduled daily production levels. This position will also be responsible for maintaining on-time completion of assigned PMs (preventive maintanance), along with general WO (work order) requests including repairs, modifications, and fabrication projects. ** Must be able to cover 1st and 2nd shifts as needed.

This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and is based onsite in our Belton, MO distribution center.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Maintaining performance of all industrial maintenance and repairs at the property, as assigned
  • Completing work orders efficiently and courteously
  • Inspecting the building regularly, including roofs and common areas
  • Ensuring that job assignments and work orders are carried out promptly, efficiently, courteously, and in accordance with established procedures
  • Maintaining shop areas and storage in a clean, orderly, safe, and secure fashion

What We Are Looking For:

  • Industrial maintenance experience is required (a minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance is required OR industrial maintenance education only would be considered at an associate level)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skill to work with minimal supervision within established procedures
  • Knowledge of industrial control wiring systems
  • Repairs and maintains (in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications) machinery and mechanical equipment, such as production machines, conveyor systems, and equipment
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance with exposure to machinery, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • The ability to read, understand, and comprehend written or oral instruction, technical data, blueprints, etc., and the ability to communicate effectively with others
  • Strong computer literacy, able to navigate browsers and research repair procedures, use web based systems for time and work management and recordkeeping
  • Ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift, boom lift, and obtain annual certifications

Bonus if You Have:

  • Sick camera and imaging systems experience
  • VFD programming and troubleshooting
  • PLC/Ladder logic experience in warehouse sortation environment
  • Apprentice or higher electrical experience
