About the Role:
IPSY is looking for a Sr. Operations Manager to lead, oversee, and optimize our monthly order fulfillment processes at one of our 3PL facilities. In this role, you will work to plan and execute our monthly fulfillment strategy while leading a variety of projects to enhance our members' experience and help us manage the facility costs. You will also assist with developing and driving our fulfillment strategy roadmap, with the aim of streamlining our operations and delivering on company OKRs. You will work with internal and external business partners to manage inventory, our 3PL relationship, and further develop internal review and reporting to ensure timely and accurate order processing and proactive call to actions when issues arise. This is a highly visible role, which calls for close collaboration and influencing among our warehouse distribution partners, as well as internal teams, such as Supply Chain, Shipping Ops, Product, Marketing, and Engineering.

This position reports to the Sr. Director, Distribution Center Operations and will be on-site in our Belton, MO facility.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Act as the primary point of contact and liaison between the 3PL provider and IPSY.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the 3PL provider.
- Communicate effectively to ensure seamless coordination and alignment with the company's fulfillment goals.
- Oversee and maintain quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and condition of products before shipment.
- Partner with the Senior Leadership team to establish and maintain quality control standards while ensuring all issues are escalated appropriately, along with recommendation and/or resolution status.
- Manage performance goals and objectives to exceed customer expectations through timely execution, accuracy, and quality, while maintaining financial performance to budget.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools, including partnering with the 3PL team to give feedback and drive improvements.
- Help develop and implement new processes to support scalability while identifying operational opportunities.
- Clearly communicate policies to team members and business partners.
- Act as the primary information source for the team, while maintaining compliance and consistency and taking corrective action when needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in fulfillment technology.
- Prepare analyses to support 3PL contractual negotiations.
- Support ad hoc analyzes to drive strategic decisions within Operations.
- Coordinate with other cross functional teams to drive business process continuity.
What We Are Looking For:
- 4-6 years of work experience in a related field such as operations, consulting, finance or product management.
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field a plus.
Experience managing complex projects, working cross-functionally, and managing people while creating and optimizing operational processes.
Proven experience in e-commerce order fulfillment and 3PL management.
Strong understanding of inventory management principles.
Excellent communications skills with an ability to convey complex ideas to different audiences.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems and logistics software.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets in order to assist with strategic business decision making while deriving critical insights.
Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience a +.
Strong understanding that data rules, and are comfortable with conducting analytics to make recommendations and decisions
Ability to influence and communicate effectively and efficiently with both internal and external business partners.
