Company Overview

Docusign brings agreements to life. More than 1.8 million customers and more than a billion people in over 180 countries use Docusign solutions to accelerate the process of doing business and simplify people’s lives. With intelligent agreement management, Docusign unleashes business-critical data that is trapped inside of documents. Until now, these were disconnected from business systems of record, costing businesses time, money, and opportunity. Using the Docusign AI-native IAM platform, companies can create, commit, and manage agreements with solutions created by the #1 company in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM).

What you'll do

We are expanding our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practice within the enterprise security organization. Our security ecosystem encompasses diverse systems and environments—ranging from third-party enterprise SaaS solutions to internally developed full-stack platforms deployed across commercial and sovereign government clouds. As a Site Reliability Engineer – Security, you will focus on hands-on deployment, automation, monitoring, and operational maintenance of the infrastructure and tooling supporting our security systems. In this role, you will partner closely with senior engineers, security domain owners, and Cloud/NetOps teams to build resilient environments, automate routine operations, and uphold high availability standards across our security platforms.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to engineering leadership within Identity Security and Security Solutions Engineering.

Responsibility

  • Write, test, and maintain modular Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or OpenTofu) and Configuration-as-Code to provision and maintain repeatable environments for security platforms across cloud environments - Infrastructure Automation
  • Maintain and enhance continuous integration and deployment pipelines (leveraging GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps), incorporating automated testing, linting, and security scanning gates - CI/CD & Release Engineering
  • Assist in deploying and integrating third-party security tools and SaaS platforms, ensuring secure network connectivity, identity integration (SSO/federation), and credential management - Systems Integration & Tooling Support
  • Implement and tune telemetry, dashboards, and alerting rules (e.g., Prometheus/Grafana, Datadog, Azure Monitor) to track service health, SLIs/SLOs, and performance bottlenecks - Observability & Health Monitoring
  • Participate in on-call rotations and operational troubleshooting for security infrastructure, executing runbooks, resolving incidents, and contributing to blameless postmortems - Incident Response & Operational Support
  • Support the execution of backup routines, redundancy configurations, and disaster recovery validation exercises to ensure platforms meet required RTO and RPO objectives - Disaster Recovery & Resilience
  • Author and maintain clear operational runbooks, environment diagrams, and onboarding documentation to promote operational rigor across the team - Runbooks & Documentation

Job Designation
