What you'll do
The Product Revenue Accounting Senior Manager leads both a technical product revenue accounting team and a SKU operations team. You will combine deep ASC 606 expertise with operational leadership to evaluate new products and growth initiatives, operationalize revenue conclusions in our systems, and build scalable, automated processes that support Docusign’s product pipeline.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Revenue Accounting.
Responsibility
Lead, develop, and retain a high‑performing technical revenue accounting and SKU operations team, setting clear goals and providing ongoing coaching and feedback
Own the revenue accounting product lifecycle for Docusign’s product portfolio, including review of new products, feature changes, and growth campaigns and their revenue impacts
Evaluate complex commercial structures (for example, platforms, usage/credits, ramps, ISV/partner agreements) and drive appropriate ASC 606 conclusions and documentation
Oversee product configuration and operations in financial systems, including SSP assessments, allocations, events, etc
Lead design and execution of scalable, well‑controlled operational processes and use automation/analytics tools to improve accuracy, efficiency, and visibility
Partner with Sales, RevOps, Legal, Deal Desk, Pricing & Packaging, FP&A, Product, and Engineering as a key point of contact for revenue and operational considerations
Manage month‑end and quarter‑end close for product accounting, ensure strong SOX and internal controls, and support internal and external audits
Support M&A product considerations, including policy alignment and product onboarding strategies
Job Designation
Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

What you bring
Basic
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA license or equivalent certification
12+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years of Big 4 or equivalent, with direct ASC 606 experience
3+ years of people management experience leading professionals in accounting, finance, or related operations
Experience with revenue systems, ERP/general ledger systems and automation tools
Experience with SaaS and subscription revenue, including SSP, allocation, contract modifications, variable consideration, ramps, and usage/credit‑based models
Experience operating in a SOX or similar internal control environment
Preferred
Experience in a high‑growth SaaS or platform business with complex product and deal structures
Proven success driving process improvement, automation, and operational excellence
Strong communication and influencing skills with cross‑functional and senior stakeholders
Experience working with global teams and stakeholders across regions
Wage Transparency
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $132,700.00 - $206,800.00 base salary
Illinois, Colorado, Massachusetts and Minnesota: $126,500.00 - $173,900.00 base salary
Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $126,500.00 - $182,500.00 base salary
Washington DC: $132,700.00 - $182,500.00 base salary
Ohio: $111,100.00 - $152,725.00 base salary
This role is also eligible for the following:
- Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
- Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
