What you'll do
As the Regional Physical Safety & Security Manager for LATAM, you oversee safety and physical security programs across offices within your geographic area. You execute regional standards spanning incident response, site operations, EHS, workplace violence prevention, vendor management, and travel risk. Through partnerships with Real Estate and HR, you mitigate regional threats and deliver a resilient workplace.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Physical Safety & Security.
Responsibility
Lead LATAM regional safety and physical security operations across assigned sites; ensure consistent execution of global policies and standards
Coordinate incident response and escalation with the global security operations center (GSOC) and site teams; conduct post‑incident reviews and corrective actions
Manage security vendor relationships (guard force, monitoring, risk intelligence) including SLAs, staffing, post orders, compliance, and performance
Administer and optimize site security technologies (access control/badging, video management, intrusion); ensure uptime, data governance, and integrations
Drive life‑safety and EHS partnership with Workplace Experience (fire/life‑safety systems, drills, AEDs, ergonomics) and ensure local regulatory compliance
Execute travel risk and employee safety programs; brief travelers, monitor events, and support emergency response
Conduct risk assessments, audits, and site reviews; recommend and implement mitigations and design improvements
Support new site openings, expansions, and decommissions with security design requirements and commissioning
Develop training and awareness for employees, reception, and vendors on safety, emergency procedures, and reporting
Track and report KPIs/OKRs for incidents, vendor performance, technology health, and program maturity; present insights to leadership
Maintain regional budgets and forecasts for vendors, technology lifecycle, and projects
Collaborate with Legal/HR/IT Security on investigations and evidence handling; uphold privacy and regulatory requirements
Participate in on‑call rotation and provide after‑hours support for regional incidents as needed
Travel regionally within LATAM for audits, projects, and incident response as required
Work onsite full-time and respond to after-hours incidents

In Office: Employee works from the physical workspace 100% of the time.

What you bring
Basic
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
8+ years experience leading security or safety operations in multi-site environments
Experience managing contract guard vendors and service providers
Experience with workplace violence prevention and threat assessment practices
Experience administering enterprise access control and video management systems
Experience leading incident response and investigations with cross-functional partners
Experience defining operational metrics and dashboards
Experience implementing security programs in new facility locations
Preferred
Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, or NEBOSH
Membership in international security organizations such as OSAC or ASIS
Experience supporting security design for construction projects
Language skills in Portuguese and English
Knowledge of regional EHS and life-safety regulations
Knowledge of relevant ISO standards and audit requirements
