What you'll do
As the Account Executive (AE), you are a highly motivated self-starter who is responsible for developing and closing new business in an assigned geographic territory. You are eager to learn, determined to adapt quickly, and comfortable with some ambiguity. Focused ingrowing existing customers, you are accountable for exceeding quarterly and annual quotas, proactive deal management, forecast accuracy, driving adoption with existing customers and prospects in collaboration with internal teams and the broader Docusign partner ecosystem.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Regional Vice President, Enterprise and Majors.
Responsibility
Drive success of the company’s goals and objectives through achieving individual sales quotas
Build and manage a sales pipeline through new logo acquisition and expand usage with existing clients in a geographic territory
Develop and deliver customized sales presentations and products demonstrations, by phone and via online demo
Develop and negotiate enterprise level proposals and contracts
Forecast sales activity and revenue achievements accurately through proper use of sales tools
Position Docusign's value proposition as part of the overall business solution, linking these benefits back to the key business issues of the client
Expand the Docusign solution beyond the functionality introduced during implementation process and consistently seek new business opportunities by presenting, recommending, and upselling new Docusign products, services, and partner solutions
Collaborate effectively and engage various pre/post sales resources including Sales Development Representatives, Market Development Representatives, Solutions Engineers, Account Managers, Partner Account Managers, as well as Legal, Security, Professional Services and Customer Support
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in meeting/exceeding individual sales targets and quotas within a SaaS model
- BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience using sales force automation tools (preferably Salesforce.com), Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Preferred
- Services/Consulting delivery experiences
- Ability to manage large volume of concurrent client relationships
- Ability to identify, critique, suggest, and implement intelligent changes to the clients' business optimization processes
- Ability to anticipate change and adjust priorities accordingly
- Ability to work as a team, as well as independently
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills to be able to interact effectively at all levels of an organization
- Willingness and ability to travel as necessary
