What you'll do
This role involves responsibility for the monthly close process, review and analysis of management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations for Docusign entities in Ireland, UK, Germany and Israel. It also involves responsibility for statutory accounting for the Ireland, UK and German entities. Candidates should have experience of monthly close processes, preferably in a US-headquartered multinational, as well as a strong understanding of both US GAAP and UK/Irish GAAP. Experience of large company ERP systems such as NetSuite/Oracle/SAP would be beneficial. Attention to detail and the ability to deliver results under deadlines as well as working effectively cross-functionally in a rapidly changing environment is critical.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Accounting.
Responsibility
Support the month-end and quarter-end close process for Docusign’s Ireland, UK, German and Israel entities through the preparation of journal entries in areas such as accruals, cash, prepaids, payroll, deferrals, intercompany, commissions, and fixed assets
Ensure that balance sheet accounts are reconciled within established reporting deadlines as part of the close process
Carry out monthly flux analysis and investigate monthly account variances to ensure consistency and quality of entries and processes
Support preparation of annual statutory accounts and reporting across the Irish, UK and German entities
Assist with US GAAP audit and quarterly review requests
Contribute to ad-hoc projects and tasks as required
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
- Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or other similar -international accounting qualification)
- 2+ years post qualification accounting experience in industry
- Experience with Irish/UK GAAP
- Experience with US GAAP
- Experience using Excel/Google Sheets
Preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related
- Experience in a US headquartered, US GAAP reporting, public company
- Exposure to working in a multi-currency environment
- Experience in a corporate ERP environment (SAP/Oracle)
- Experience with German/Israel GAAP
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritise competing deliverables
- Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization
