What you'll do
As a Senior Digital Revenue Accountant, you have in-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, proficiency in accounting systems, and strong motivation to contribute to the achievement of an efficient monthly, quarterly and annual close and financial reporting process for the revenue team. This role will have a strong accounting and operational emphasis over the digital revenue stream processes and controls. The position will help drive system implementation and process automation, SOX control execution and documentation, and audit support.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Digital Revenue Accounting Manager.
Responsibility
- Perform and drive automation efforts for credit card and system reconciliations related to our digital business
- Participate actively in monthly and quarterly close activities including preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations
- Assist in providing audit support for control and substantive testing
- Assist in implementing and improving internal controls and preparing control documentation for revenue-related processes
- Work collaboratively with Financial Reporting, GL, and Business Process teams to drive operational efficiencies and best practices in revenue processes
- Support the Digital Revenue Accounting Manager with special projects, including system and tool implementation and improving internal processes and controls
Job Designation
Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

What you bring
Basic
- BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- CPA certified or in the process of attaining the CPA
- Experience recognizing and accurately recording revenue in accordance with US GAAP
- 3+ years of revenue experience working in, or auditing, a technology company
- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, and complex excel formulas
- Experience driving projects and automation efforts
Preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Big 4 audit experience
- Experience with Oracle, Zuora, RevPro, and Alteryx
- Experience in billing including handling close of periods, data transfer between systems
- Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization and cross-functionally
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet required deadlines
- Experience in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- SaaS company background
Wage Transparency
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $101,500.00 - $156,750.00 base salary
Illinois and Colorado: $97,000.00 - $133,300.00 base salary
Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $97,000.00 - $139,525.00 base salary
Washington DC: $101,500.00 - $139,525.00 base salary
This role is also eligible for bonus and benefits.
